CYVAC — localized closed-circuit blasting without contamination

CYM Materiales CYVAC portable closed-circuit shot blast machines are designed for localized surface preparation work on site, without fixed installation or blast cabinet. They project abrasive by compressed air and simultaneously recover it by suction, allowing work on any type of surface — metal, wood, concrete — in any position and without environmental contamination.

The CYVACS model uses a venturi recovery system with compressed air injection, making it completely autonomous and portable with no moving parts in the recovery system. It requires a compressed air supply of 5 to 7 m³/min at 7 kg/cm² and is the ideal solution for spot field work where electrical power is not available.

The CYVAC7 model incorporates a 7.5 HP electric regenerative turbine for abrasive recovery, reducing compressed air consumption to 1.5–4 m³/min. This configuration makes it more efficient for continuous or longer-duration work, with lower operating cost per m² treated.

Applications

Uses and shot blasting processes

CYVAC machines are designed for work requiring localized intervention, full mobility and closed-circuit process. They are the solution when automatic equipment cannot reach the area or when the surface to be treated does not justify a fixed installation.

CYVACS — VENTURI RECOVERY

CYVACS — VENTURI RECOVERY

  • Cleaning of weld seams and pipe joints
  • Surface preparation in hard-to-reach areas: edges, corners, jainas
  • Small-scale work on floors, walls or roofs of oil tanks or ships
  • Industrial floor markings and concrete surface preparation
  • Autonomous in the field without electrical power — compressed air only
  • Can be operated open-circuit by removing the blast head and using the vacuum hose independently
CYVAC7 — ELECTRIC REGENERATIVE TURBINE

CYVAC7 — ELECTRIC REGENERATIVE TURBINE

  • Continuous or longer-duration work with lower operating cost
  • Lower compressed air consumption: 1.5 to 4 m³/min at 7 kg/cm²
  • Ideal for plants with electrical supply available at the work point
  • More efficient abrasive recovery for repetitive or serial processes
  • Removal of paint, rust and mill scale with controlled roughness profile
  • Suitable for wood, concrete, metal and non-ferrous surfaces
