Equipment to increase fatigue resistance
Shot peening is a controlled surface treatment process that induces residual compressive stresses on the surface of metal components, significantly increasing their resistance to fatigue, stress corrosion and fracture. Unlike cleaning blasting, shot peening works with precise parameters of Almen intensity, coverage and grain size, verifiable according to the SAE J443 standard.
