CYM Materiales supplies the complete equipment line for setting up periodic inspection centers for CNG, NGV and industrial gas cylinders —oxygen, acetylene, helium, argon, carbon dioxide and other industrial gases—, covering every process stage: gas venting, valve removal, surface blasting and cleaning, external inspection, internal washing, hydraulic testing by volumetric expansion, vertical painting and marking. All equipment is designed to work together as an integrated system, with technical support and turnkey projects for installations of any scale.

For cylinder movement between stages, we offer two layout configurations compatible with the full equipment line. In the manual trolley layout, cylinders are moved between independent stations; in the roller table layout, cylinders are manually pushed along a continuous sequence of tables connecting each stage. Both configurations include tilting tables and the choice depends on available space and the operational flow of each installation.

The production rate of the center is determined by the PH-1 hydraulic testing equipment cycle, with times between 4 and 7 minutes per cylinder depending on size. The rest of the equipment is sized around that rate to ensure continuous workflow. For each stage, CYM Materiales offers options of different capacity and automation level, allowing the center to be configured according to the required production volume.

All equipment complies with the regulations of each country's vehicle technical inspection authorities and is robust, reliable and compact. The periodic inspection process follows a fixed stage sequence. The rate of the entire line is determined by the PH-1 hydraulic testing equipment cycle (4 to 7 minutes per cylinder), which is the bottleneck of the installation.

Note: the PD-1 press is used at two stages of the process —valve removal at the start and valve replacement at the end— so a single unit can cover both functions in low and medium production installations.
