CYM Materiales cyclonic pressure blast cabinets incorporate an intermediate abrasive classification system that separates dust and fine particles with maximum efficiency before the abrasive returns to the pressure pot — located below the cyclone. This precision in abrasive cleaning is essential for shot peening with glass beads, aluminium oxide and fine metallic shot, as well as decorative blasting on stainless steel and aluminium that require clean, classified abrasive to achieve the desired finish. For automated processes, any model can be fitted with an automatic nozzle manipulator system for shot peening and controlled blasting of oil and gas drill pipe threads, drive shafts, RSS drill bits and other complex geometry parts.
