Hydraulic testing by volumetric expansion — manual or automatic
CYM Materiales offers two hydraulic testing equipment options for CNG, NGV and industrial gas cylinders by volumetric expansion, per the IRAM standard and its international equivalents in force in each country: the PH-1A model with automatic PLC control and the PH-1M manual model. Both process cylinders from 30 to 90 litres in cycles of 4 to 7 minutes and can be configured with an optional burette set for cylinders from 90 to 140 litres.

- Cylinder capacity: 30 to 90 litres standard; optional burette set for 90 to 140 litres.
- Maximum working pressure: 375 kg/cm².
- Average cycle: 4 to 7 minutes per cylinder depending on size (excluding filling, connection and emptying times).
- Operating temperature: up to 40 °C at ambient humidity.
- Compact design for installations of any scale.
- Hydraulic pump driven by 3 HP motor.
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
Models and capacities
The PH-1A and PH-1M equipment perform the same volumetric expansion test with identical precision. The difference lies in the level of automation: the PH-1A automatically records, calculates and manages the data for each test, while the PH-1M delegates those operations to the operator.

Note: Both models can be complemented with an optional burette set to process cylinders from 90 to 140 litres. For installations requiring greater production capacity, the PH-1A allows a second unit to be added in line without modifying the center layout.
